From the promenade one can enjoy the marvellous views over the beach and especially recommendable are the picturesque sunsets where the sun sinks into the ocean just behind the Hercules temple.

In the province of Cádiz there are a great number of monuments for culture enthusiasts. One can almost feel the 3.000 years of history. The capital of the province – Cádiz – is the oldest city of Europe and is compared to La Habana on many occasions. The cathedral, the symbol of the city, is equally impressive like the rest of the architecture of the old town.
The typical glassed balconies give the houses a very special look and you can get lost in the narrow streets where at almost each corner there are bars, restaurants and coffee shops to spend a few minutes.

Not only Flamenco as a culture, as a social, festive and historical element finds its most solid base in the province of Cádiz but also carnival and fiestas are deeply rooted. El Puerto de Santa Maria where Cristobal Colón started his adventures in search of the "new" world is the perfect place to taste the typical local fish dishes. In Jerez de la Frontera visitors can discover the world of wine in one of the bodegas or visit the famous horse riding school Escuela del arte ecuestre which should not be missed.

The Sierra de Cádiz is located in the interior of the province, a very popular nature park. The hills and mountains not only contain a very singular fauna and flora but also a great number of unique white villages well known for its hand-made products. In Grazalema they produce blankets, in Villaluenga del Rosario the famous cheese Payoyo, in Ubrique one can buy everything related to leather and in Zahara de la Sierra it is possible to follow the process of the oil production.

Those who rather would like to discover some white villages situated closer to the hotel, can visit Medina Sidonia and Vejer de la Frontera. Medina, located in the hilly hinterland of the coast offers a wonderful view from its church over the Sierra and the ocean. Medina is famous for its sweets. In many cafes you can buy the different delicacies and there is even the possibility to visit the pastry factory situated outside of the village. The best way to discover Vejer de la Frontera is strolling through its narrow streets. This village is also situated on a hill and enjoys fabulous views over the Sierra. The old church, located on the highest point of Vejer is worth a visit as well as the old mills and the walls surrounding the village.

Novo Sancti Petri is a paradise for golf players with various golf courses in the area, one of them designed by the famous Spanish golf player, Severiano Ballesteros. There are other sport activities such as: tennis club, riding club, paddle courts and cycling.
