Majorca surroundings

Calviá is an area with more the 50 km of coast and an exposed location in the south west of Majorca, whose qualities are much appreciated by a high number of repeating guests. Surrounded by two beautiful villages (one at the coast and one at the inland) and the mountain Galatzó, where you can enjoy a fantastic view over the interior of Majorca, without any doubt one of the most beautiful ones of the island. The municipality of Andratx is very well known for its natural harbour. The village of Andratx itself, is surrounded by more very picturesque fisher villages and the impressive Mediterranean sea, and is a divers paradise. Very close to Paguera you can find the solitary Dragon island, which is almost exclusively habituated by lizards and sea gulls and is since 1995 a nature reserve. Overall Paguera offers surprising surroundings which enables guests to organize a lot of excursions.

In the contrary direction of the harbour of Andratx and about 20 minutes distance you can reach the capital of the island, Palma de Mallorca. The city is extroverted, but also mistress and majestic, the cityscape is dominated by the famous Cathedral and the elegant beach promenade. Palma presents it self traditional and cosmopolitan, but at the same time unites old and modern and is a city which one can enjoy with all senses during the day as well as at night.

Paguera is with its great variety of activities the perfect place to enjoy your vacation. The small tourist enclave offers the visitors a pleasant ambience with shopping areas, bars, restaurants and a beach promenade surrounded by a sandy beach. It is a place to take long walks with impressive views over the ocean and the beautiful sunsets. The beaches enchant the visitors with white sand and transparent water not too deep which makes it an ideal place for the whole family.

In the close surroundings there is entertainment for every ones taste. Sport activities and a great number of possibilities for clients of all ages. Both for clients who look for more relaxing holidays and for more active guests.

For sport freaks the area offers golf, diving, tennis, football, sailing, cycling, horse riding, volleyball, surfing, kayak, water ski and a lot more. A lot of these activities can be practice directly in Paguera and some in the nearer area.

During the day Paguera has a more familiar and cheerful ambience, meanwhile the evening hours become a mixture of voices and music in the streets close to the beach, where you can find entertainment for all ages.
