Cayo Cruz
The tropical island of Cayo Cruz is a small Caribbean paradise of 26 km2 located in the archipelago known as "Jardines del Rey" in the province of Camagüey, in front of the Old Bahama Channel. A destination far away from mass tourism where dream beaches and wild natural spaces await you which will make you fall in love at first sight. You’ll know you’ve arrived when the turquoise blue of its waters dazzle your gaze towards infinity.
Coral reefs and beautiful white sandy beaches with shallow crystalline waters characterize the maritime landscape of Cayo Cruz. Its rich seabed and coral reefs are perfect for snorkeling and diving vacations. Playa Dorada, Playa Cara, Playa Onda and Playa Sigua are some of its best known beaches.
Mangrove forests, dunes and coastal scrub dot the landscape of Cayo Cruz, harboring abundant wildlife. A few kilometers from Cayo Cruz you can visit the Limones-Tuabaquey Ecological Reserve in the Cubitas mountain range, and the capital of Camagüey, with its unusual colored houses, as well as tour the neighboring keys and the spectacular natural spaces in the area.
