Non-Refundable Cancellation Protection
To ensure maximum peace of mind, all non-refundable rates include, at no additional cost, the Cancellation Guarantee for non-refundable rates, managed by InterMundial, for a limited time on non-refundable bookings.
This guarantee protects you against unforeseen events that may prevent or interrupt your trip.
What does the Cancellation Guarantee for non-refundable rates include?
1. Cancellation expenses and reimbursement
- Trip cancellation for justified reasons (serious illness, accident, death of a direct family member, severe damage to the home, etc.).
- Refund for unused nights if you must interrupt your holiday.
- Possibility to modify travel dates or postpone your stay instead of cancelling.
2. Medical and health assistance
- Medical coverage up to 500 USD or its equivalent in euros in Mexico, Colombia, the Americas or worldwide.
- Repatriation or medical transport of injured or ill travellers, including accompanying assistance.
- Telemedicine service or information available throughout the trip.
3. Baggage guarantees
- Location and delivery of lost luggage.
Main cancellation reasons
Among the covered situations are:
- Serious illness, accident, or death of the insured person or a direct family member.
- Judicial summons or jury duty.
- Serious damage to the primary residence requiring the presence of the insured.
- Job dismissal or medical quarantine.
- Urgent call-up for military or medical service.
- Natural disasters or volcanic eruptions.
Important Note
The Cancellation Guarantee applied to non-refundable rates is governed by InterMundial’s own terms and conditions (Insurance provider). This guarantee covers only the amount corresponding to the accommodation.
Therefore, additional services such as Prive or other extras booked are not included within the coverage of the Cancellation Guarantee for non-refundable rates.
The hotel will charge 100% of the reservation at the time of purchase. Non refundable in case of cancellation, modification or no-show. However, with this rate, you can book without worries and cancel your reservation in the event of unforeseen events. Travel with peace of mind—both you and your companions—with a travel assistance plan. Validity: This rate includes a Non-Refundable Cancellation Protection that comes into force when the booking is formalised and ends on the day of arrival. The Travel Assistance Plan is effective on the day of arrival at the destination until the last day.
Non-Refundable Cancellation Protection: The refund of this amount in the event of justified cancellation will be made through the Más Servicios insurance company. The refund of the prepaid amount is not accepted if the reason for cancellation is not included in the general conditions of the policy.

With this rate, you will have a travel assistance service that will provide you with support in case of medical emergencies or other inconveniences that may arise during your stay, incluiding "telemedicine". When will I receive the information about my Cancellation Guarantee for non-refundable rates?
After completing your reservation that includes the cancellation guarantee within a Non-Refundable rate, you will receive an email requesting the registration of the remaining companions, including adults, minors, and infants. You will be able to download your certificate, and you will receive access information for the customer area to manage everything from a single point of contact.
Who is covered by the Cancellation Protection?
The Cancellation Guarantee covers the person who makes the booking and the accompanying travellers.
To ensure your travel companions receive proper assistance, it is essential to add them to your booking through the form sent by the provider; otherwise, they cannot be identified.
Once all companions are registered, you will be able to download the certificate.
When does the coverage of my Cancellation Protection begin?
- The Cancellation Guarantee, which includes trip cancellation coverage, is activated on the day after the policy is purchased.
- Assistance coverage begins on the same day the trip starts.
How long do I have to claim in case of booking cancellation?
In the event of any incident, the first thing you should do is immediately inform the provider.
You must also cancel your reservation with the hotel and receive the cancellation confirmation with the non-reimbursed amount in order to claim it from the company in accordance with the product contracted.
Do I have to pay the medical expenses myself?
In most cases, you will not have to pay in advance for receiving medical attention at your destination. To do this, it is important that you contact the 24-hour Assistance service via the Customer Area or by phone. Depending on the type of assistance you need, our team will coordinate it. If, in case of a vital emergency or due to connection problems, it is impossible for you to contact the Assistance team and you are transferred directly to the hospital, the professionals there will contact us and we will take care of all the arrangements. By proceeding this way, you will not have to pay any expenses at the clinic. In the case of very low-value invoices, such as nursing care or the purchase of medication, the expenses are reimbursed afterwards by reporting a Claim, once all invoices have been submitted.
What do I do if I have to cancel my trip?
If a problem arises that forces you to cancel the reservation, you must cancel it. If the reason for the cancellation or trip interruption is due to one of the causes guaranteed in your Cancellation Guarantee, you must notify the provider and present the necessary documentation to proceed with the reimbursement. You can manage the reimbursement of cancellation costs through the Customer Area. When you cancel a service reservation, such as accommodation, the Cancellation Guarantee will refund those "penalty" cancellation costs that you do not recover from the hotel.
How do I file a claim?
Manage your claim online through the Customer Area. Once you log in with your account, you just have to select the Guarantee for which you want to report the claim and indicate what has happened. You will find out the specific documentation to provide and you can submit the case for review. From this moment on, you can track the status of your claim in real time.
