Paguera is considered a very international destination known for its cleanliness, its incredible beaches, and its good service to tourists.

On September 15, 2022, Tourist Day is celebrated in Paguera. A holiday highly appreciated by locals and visitors that, due to the pandemic, has not been held for the previous 2 years. Therefore, this year the festival is tremendously anticipated by the public.

Historically, Tourist Day has been celebrated every third Thursday of September. Organized by the Hotel Association of Paguera and Cala Fornells with the aim of honoring all those tourists whom year after year choose Paguera as a tourist destination to visit. Hotel occupancy in Paguera represents 93%, being of great support to local commerce. For this reason, the Calviá city council actively participates in carrying out activities at the local level to promote the occupation of the tourist area.

The festival is noted for its animosity and its variety of entertainment options. It has comparsas, batucadas, stilt walkers, equestrian parades, correfocs, themed floats, parades, and brass bands, among many other things. The public will be able to enjoy endless surprises and activities that will make the day an unforgettable event.

A very important element of the festival is the live music shows. Where international bands will perform at different times of the day. In previous years, bands such as Caribbean Kings, 4Fun and Souldrivers have performed. In the same way, there will be children's entertainment shows so that the little ones can have fun.

On the Boulevard de Paguera, tourists and locals will find different selections of local cuisine that they can taste. Such as food trucks, stands, and tents with free drinks. Paguera is known for its Mediterranean gastronomy and its delicious Majorcan dishes.

To finish the festival, fireworks will be lit at the Torá beach dock to entertain the participants. It is a long-awaited act and enjoyed by all. At the end of the day, stay at one of our three local hotels. Valentin Paguera and Valentin Reina Paguera are the ideal hotels if you are traveling as a couple or with friends, due to their romantic and relaxing atmosphere.

But if you are traveling with kids, we will welcome you with open arms at the most fun family hotel in all of Mallorca: Valentin Park Club. Where our mascot, Tino the Penguin, will entertain you with shows that will surprise the whole family. Just come and stay with us!
